Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial
This small but historically significant site commemorates the ten Belgian UN peacekeepers who were killed at the start of the 1994 genocide. Located near Camp Kigali, the site features preserved bullet holes and a moving monument of ten stone pillars. It serves as a stark reminder of the international community’s failure to prevent the genocide.
