Inema Arts Center
A hub for contemporary African art, the Inema Arts Center is one of Kigali’s most popular creative spaces. Founded by two Rwandan brothers in 2012, the center hosts exhibitions, performances, workshops and artist residencies. It showcases vibrant paintings, mixed-media works and sculptures by both emerging and established Rwandan artists. Visitors can tour the open studios, enjoy local music and dance events and even buy art or handmade crafts. Inema has helped shape Kigali into one of Africa’s rising art capitals.
